Who Are We?
We are the Richmond's only Full Service, Fully Integrative, Regenerative Medical Center.
What is Regenerative Medicine?
The National Institute of Health states –Regenerative medicine is the process of creating living, functional tissues to repair or replace tissue or organ function lost due to age, disease, damage, or congenital defects. Therefore this field holds the promise of regenerating damaged tissues and organs in the body by stimulating previously irreparable organs to heal themselves. Furthermore regenerative medicine empowers scientists to grow tissues and organs in the laboratory and safely implant them when the body cannot heal itself. Most importantly, regenerative medicine has the potential to solve the problem of the shortage of organs available through donation compared to the number of patients that require life-saving organ transplantation.
How does IRMC use Integrative Medicine?
We use the latest in FDA regulated stem cell therapies. Amnionic and Cord Blood Stem cells can now be used to remove scar tissue and regrow damaged ligaments and joints.
We use Trigger point therapy to not only block pain from the trigger point but to restore it to normal functional muscle tissue. Most Medical Centers inject trigger points with a pain medication and stop. Our approach is much more complete and is aimed at restoring the muscle to normal full function and not just blocking the pain.
Use of Rehab and manipulative therapies can store and regenerate normal joint movement damaged by arthritis.
