Originally created to help expand the wellness initiatives and proactive health development programs within corporate America, the Doctors for Health and Wellness Foundation (DHW) has expanded its offerings to all interested community organizations and groups. Our members pride themselves in the diversity of groups that they donate to.
For community groups and organizations, the DHW providers offer a wide range of activities, lectures, demonstrations or screenings. Our goal at the DHW foundation is to provide convenient and complimentary access to expert physicians and wellness practitioners. All services provided by DHW doctors are complimentary for the organization and its members. Most lectures, wellness events and member massage days can be arranged within a short period of time, granted that the foundation providers have availability on their donation calendars.

What size does my organization need to be in order to be eligible for the complimentary services?
Groups and organizations of any size are eligible. Priority calendar scheduling of activities such as Member Appreciation Days or Lunch-and-Learns is given to groups who have hosted DHW member services before.
Why are we not allowed to pay for services or ‘tip’ the providers?
The DHW statutes strictly prohibit any member from receiving payment, tips or gifts for anyone associated with the DHW service provider. We strongly enforce this policy as DHW will always be known as a ‘Cost-free’ organization to community groups. The one exception is where the organization is raising funds for a charity, whereas tips for a service, such as a massage station, could be directly provided towards that said charity.
The Provider mentioned that they are required to donate, what is that requirement?
Each DHW member is required to provide an annual quota of 60+ hours of donated services, to maintain their merit status as a Supporting Member, or 120+ hours to maintain their merit status as a Founding Member. By requiring a volume of services donated, we are ensuring that the DHW foundation is making a significant positive impact in your community (and in your organization). Each provider page shows the current status level of each active member.
How do I arrange to have one of the complimentary services, such as a Member Appreciation Day, at our company?
Simply go directly to the DHW member’s page (accessed by typing in their provider number into the search box of our website) and a contact us page will appear. Fill out the contact form indicating which of the services your group is interested in. The local DHW member will have one of their representatives contact you back to answer any questions and provide their calendar availability for specific events/activities.
